“When I’m not working I . . .
Attend my kids’ sporting events, ride bikes with them, host barbecues with friends and attend to our two crazy and lovable rescue dogs.”
Amanda is founder and president of Pharos Project Managers. In 2018 she began working with Gola on a consulting basis, her rich 20+ year history of managing construction projects in various markets is the perfect complement to our in-house team. Always ready to jump in when needed, Amanda manages projects from initial lease or purchase negotiations and due diligence through construction completion, including oversight of the project team of designers, contractors, and furniture and low voltage (telecom, security, audio visual) vendors.
Her career began at Turner Construction Company and then Skanska USA Building. After five years in the construction field, Amanda transitioned into a project manager role at Rubenstein Partners, a Philadelphia commercial real estate developer. She moved on to similar positions with Pitcairn Properties, Inc., Liberty Property Trust, and Catellus Development Corporation, advancing to vice president and director of construction and development at both Pitcairn and Catellus before forming her own firm in 2016.
Amanda offers a vast and impressive project management portfolio of high-profile commercial, industrial, and retail projects. Her experience includes hundreds of tenant and common area improvement projects, new construction and development, large post-remediation projects, and specialty projects such as cafes, fitness centers, and conference centers.
The construction process involves methodologies, vocabulary, building codes, and standards which are daunting to the uninitiated. It is rewarding when I can partner with a client, oversee their project and help them navigate through construction and move related issues so that they can focus on running their business.
Bachelor of Science, Civil Engineering, with concentrations in Construction Management and Geotechnical Engineering
Amanda always finds time to coach her daughter’s lacrosse team and act as treasurer for the non-profit lacrosse club. She also volunteers for the St. Anthony of Padua Children’s Faith Formation, manages the parish’s communion closet, and lately has been sewing face masks for friends and family to help keep them safe.
