The growing company sought a building where they could consolidate their corporate, manufacturing and distribution functions into a single headquarters facility.
Purchase of the historic 52,113 SF Globe Knitting Mill building, constructed in 1897 and renovated in 2001, and an adjacent 47,639 SF industrial building.
Gola represented the company in the search and purchase transaction for a suitable suburban building that could accommodate administrative and production activities as well as a flagship retail store, The Shop at Puttyworld. Before and after settlement, our project management team assisted Crazy Aaron’s with space planning; budgeting for relocation and construction; furniture and relocation vendor bidding; and move coordination.
about Crazy Aaron’s Puttyworld
Aaron Muderick had a penchant for putty and set out to improve upon the one created for mass market in 1957. In 1998, the computer programmer and self-taught chemistry and physics scientist did just that and Thinking Putty® was born. Today the company works with seven Philadelphia-area vocational centers to employ exceptional individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities. For more about Crazy Aaron’s, click here.
